Have you ever wondered what would come up if you searched “dying grandparent” on Google images? You’d think that a picture of an ill grandparent would actually pop up, right? Wrong. Oddly enough, the search leads you to pages upon pages of pop singer/The Voice judge Christina Aguilera. What’s happening? The website The Daily Dot explained that the image is associated with the search term because of a quirk on Google’s algorithm. In 2011, Radar Online posted an article about how Christina’s uncle said the singer’s grandparents were gravely ill and dying, but Christina chose to snub them. Due to the popularity of the article, Christina Aguilera and the phrase “dying grandparents” will forever be linked in the Google image search engine. Try it and see for yourself! ~BJ Lasala

Not a big fan of Christina A: I alway felt that she comes across as cold and arrogant. How can you turn your back on a dying grandparent?
No I can’t say I have ever thought about searching for “dying grandparents.” Why was someone searching for pictures related to that? I’m a bit more worried about that person than Christina Aguilera.
