Shia LaBeouf doesn’t like movies he made with Spielberg

For many actors, it would be a dream come true to land a role in a Steven Spielberg movie. Shia LaBeouf had the same outlook.
“I grew up with this idea, if you got to Spielberg, that’s where it is,” he said in an interview with Variety. “I’m not talking about fame, and I’m not talking about money.”
Unfortunately, his dream did not quite unravel as he had imagined, and the legendary director did not end up reaching Shia’s expectations.
“You get there, and you realize you’re not meeting the Spielberg you dream of,” he revealed. “You’re meeting a different Spielberg, who is in a different stage in his career. He’s less a director than he is a f—king company.”
Even on set, Shia said, “Spielberg’s sets are very different. Everything has been so meticulously planned. You got to get this line out in 37 seconds. You do that for five years, you start to feel like not knowing what you’re doing for a living.”
He was especially disappointed by the poor reviews that Spielberg’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull received in 2008, despite it taking in $800 million. “I don’t like the movies that I made with Spielberg,” he concluded, adding, “The only movie that I liked that we made together was [the] Transformers one.”
However, the actor’s latest film, American Honey, received positive reviews at Cannes in May, and is screening at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Hopefully the indie film’s director Andrea Arnold was better match for Shia than Steven was. ~Natalia Makarski

Steven Spielberg regrets Jaws film has decimated sharks

Steven Spielberg said during an interview for BBC Radio 4 that he truly regrets that his 1975 film Jaws has decimated shark populations around the world.
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you, jeez.
He was right though. That movie was awful….
LaBeouf is a big reason why CRYSTAL SKULL sucked. Nay, a HUGE reason. This plagiaristic idiot is so unappealing. How does he have a career?
Indiana Jones was awful. The entire film could easily be taken apart scene by scene, line by line and still never be what the first series of films were. That it made 800m is solely off the backs of the fans of the original movies. Had this been a first movie that was not a franchise, it would never have made 50m. He isn’t wrong about Spielberg either, his movies are more formulaic with less and less risks taken now. Every once in a while you get something new, but gone are the days of his flexing his muscle and pushing boundaries. LaBeouf could be a decent actor, not great, but good enough to get consistently good roles if he wasn’t such a moron.
Shia is not that great an actor and I wonder how he has managed to stay in the business this long. He keeps sounding more and more like a spoiled brat. And his off camera antics are bad, and disappointing. too. He should get together with Justin Bieber and let’s see the two of them destroy each others’ careers as they are both very bad people.
Who the hell does Shea leDouche think he is? He’s lucky to have a carrear and to have worked with Spielberg at all. He should consider keeping his bratty, steroid eating mouth shut on a director such as Spielberg if he wants to work with high caliber names in Hollywood. I’m sure Spielberg has plenty of “friends” and doesn’t need Shea’s approval.
I get what he’s saying, it’s become so much about money now that movies just aren’t that good anymore.
one word to Shia when he starts talking smack about anyone in the movie business: “Nymphomaniac”. Anyone not familar with the porn movie masquerading as some indy art/foreign film staring Shia and his weenie, take a look at your own risk (both Vol 1 and 2) and you will see what depths he has descended to. He could have used Indie’s whip in that film.
Actually, I thought NYMPHOMANIAC was the one worthwhile project he made. Another provocative and divisive work from the great Lars von Trier.
No kidding, they stunk. He’s a much better actor than what’s required for crap like that.

I’m not a fan of Shia LaBeouf and I luv Steven Spielberg s as I’m a big fan, but I would have to agree with Shia as if u have literally seconds to read your line it pretty much robotic than acting then u kill what movies are all about
