Sofia Vergara is engaged. Joe Manganiello – who has been dating the ‘Modern Family’ star for six months – reportedly proposed to her on Christmas Day (25.12.14) and an insider has revealed that the pair are ”truly in love.”
The source told E! News: ”I’ve never seen two people so truly in love. The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It’s incredible.” Meanwhile, another source recently revealed that Sofia’s family has given the ‘Magic Mike’ actor their seal of approval.
The 42-year-old actress and model’s son, Manolo, 22 and niece Claudia are big fans of the ‘True Blood’ star. The source explained: ”Her son is her biggest priority – and harshest relationship critic. But he approves of Joe.”
In June, Sofia ended her engagement to Nick Loeb and the businessman is believed to have been unable to form a close bond with her family. The insider said: ”It was no secret that Sofia’s family disliked him. But they’ve really embraced Joe. He makes Sofia happy.”
The brunette beauty recently revealed that she thought Joe was ”too handsome” for her at first.
She said: ”I had just seen him very far away at events. I thought he was very handsome, but I wasn’t interested. Too handsome.”
