After months of debate on whether or not we will actually get a fifth Rambo movie, we have our answer. Sylvester Stallone announced this weekend at Comic-Con that his long awaited Rambo movie will be titled: Rambo V: Last Blood.
Stallone also revealed some details regarding the plot, stating that in this likely final addition to the franchise, John Rambo will take on his most menacing opponent yet, the terrorist organization, ISIS.
Stallone has high hopes for the movie and its premise, stating, “We have teams scouting Iraq and parts of Syria where ISIS have their greatest strongholds. We’re working with the locals there to help deliver the most intense and realistic Rambo movie experience ever.”
Filming on the project was to take place in early 2015 but was delayed. Stallone has written the script and is set to direct the final installment in the franchise, which is set to begin production following the completion of his current film, Scarpa.
Audiences won’t have to wait long for Stallone to be back on the big screen, as his Rocky spin-off movie, Creed, comes out November 25, 2015. ~Greg Chisholm
