Taylor Swift cleaned up at the American Music Awards last night, beating out Michael Jackson for the top prize – Entertainer of the Year. Via a video link from London, England, Swift, who looked shocked by her win, said, “I just want to say that music has never been ultimately about competition. To even be mentioned in a category with Michael Jackson, who will be missed and loved forever is an unimaginable honor.” Swift, who was nominated for six AMAs, won five, including Pop/Rock Female Artist, Adult Contemporary Artist, Country Female Artist and Favourite Country Album.
