Thor and Katniss: top Halloween costumes

Movie website Fandango surveyed more than 1,000 people on what their movie-inspired Halloween costume would be and the results of the top five male, female, group and children costumes have just been released. Number one on the men’s chart is the superhero Thor, while number one on the women’s list is Katniss Everdeen from the popular book and movie franchise The Hunger Games. The number one team costume is from the cast from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The children’s top choices were less action and more from animated movies, with the number one being a minion from the hit summer movie Despicable Me 2.
The top five lists are as followed:
Male: Thor, Superman, Iron Man, Ron Burgundy, Irving Zisman
Female: Katniss, Theodora the Wicked Witch, Effie Trinket, Daisy Buchanan, Hit-Girl
Team: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire cast, The Great Gatsby flappers, Oz: The Great and Powerful witch-sisters, Anchorman 2 news team, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug cast
Children: Minion, Mike Wazowski, Smurfette, Sully, Thor ~Brie Davis

Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is an international exhibit that has toured around the world. It’s coming November 20 to Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
