The call went out across North America for fans to demand Grease: Sing-A-Long in their cities and more Toronto fans voted to have the movie than fans in any other Canadian city. As a result, the digitally re-mastered 1978 classic movie musical will play in Toronto for an exclusive engagement on Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24. Click here to buy tickets. Grease Sing-A-Long, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newtown-John, began playing July 8 in 12 cities across the U.S. and besides Toronto, the run expands to five additional American cities, thanks to the demands of fans.

Only 2 evenings at a downtown theatre? There are a lot of people in the greater Toronto area that would loved to have seen it. Hopefully it might be extended or come on DVD like “Mamma Mia”
yah – definitely would have been nice to have it in another theater as well – or have it for a couple of more nights – grrrrrrrr
