The Lovely Bones is based on the bestselling novel by Alice Sebold. The film, directed by Peter Jackson, is a hard-hitting story of a teenage girl who, after being brutally raped and murdered, watches from heaven as her family and friends go on with their lives, while she herself comes to terms with her own death. The film stars fifteen-year-old, Oscar-nominated Irish actress Saoirse Ronan and a star-studded cast, which includes Rachel Weisz, Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci.
Tribute‘s Bonnie Laufer spoke with Saoirse Ronan and the cast in Los Angeles about working on this moving drama.
