True Blood auction offers fans over 1,500 items

True Blood fans will bid goodbye to their beloved series later this month but they will have a chance to take a part of the show home, if the price is right. ScreenBid is holding an auction for over 1,500 items from True Blood. Bidding starts August 20 and is currently set to close August 25, the night after the series finale airs on August 24. Items up for bid include Eric Northman’s (Alexander Skarsgård) Fangtasia throne, Arlene Fowler Bellefleur’s wedding gown, the Merlotte’s Bar and Grill menu, cartons of the True Blood beverage and vampire fangs. The series is based on the Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) novels by Charlaine Harris. HBO’s True Blood is currently airing its seventh season Sunday nights and stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgård, Sam Trammell and Ryan Kwanten, among others. ~Andrea Hodgins
