Twilight star Peter Facinelli engaged to Jaimie Alexander

It’s official! Peter Facinelli is off the market.
The 41-year-old Twilight actor proposed to his girlfriend, Thor’s Jaimie Alexander, 31, at the top of the Empire State Building in New York earlier this week. Peter is currently in NYC promoting his new NBC series American Odyssey and Jaimie is there filming the pilot for Blindspot.
The couple have been dating since 2012 and first met on the set of Loosies. The two lovebirds also worked together on the TV show Nurse Jackie.
On Monday, Jaimie shared a romantic snap on Instagram of the happy pair, in matching leather jackets, kissing atop the famous landmark.
Peter shared the news via Twitter the the same afternoon. Peter was previously married to Beverly Hills 90210 star Jennie Garth, with whom he has three young daughters. The couple divorced in 2013. This is the first marriage for Jaimie.
