Valerie Harper, who played the funny and sassy Rhoda Morgenstern on the hit series The Mary Tyler Moore Show has received devastating news: she's been diagnosed with  leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a type of terminal brain cancer. Doctors have advised her that she likely has approximately three months to live. Harper opened up to People magazine about the diagnosis and showed she has a positive attitude, saying, "I don't think of dying, I think of being here now." Harper, 73, previously fought lung cancer in 2009. ~Carlos Laron

That's horrible news. Live life for today and have a good time and hug your loved ones. ANYTHING can happen. I hope she makes the best of the time she has left.

She fought cancer before and has cancer again. She has such an optimistic outlook on life. It's sad to hear but she's proved to be a strong, tough cookie. She'd die a happy woman.
