Furious 7‘s debut was welcomed with record-breaking numbers and if you’re a fan of fast cars and intense action, it looks like the hit franchise might have an eighth installment after all.
With the tagline for Furious 7 being “One Last Ride” and the tragic passing of Paul Walker, many speculated the film would be the last in the popular series. After an emotional cover of “See You Again” at the MTV Awards on Sunday, Vin Diesel addressed the topic of another installment.
“Paul [Walker] used to say that eight was guaranteed. And in some ways, when your brother guarantees something, you sometimes feel like you have to make sure it comes to pass,” Vin hinted. “So if fate has it, fate… F8… if fate has it, then you’ll get this when you hear about it. Seven was for Paul. Eight is from Paul.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is also ready to sign on for Furious 8, if it gets the green light.
“I talked to Vin today,” Dwayne said. “We had a nice discussion — and I think whatever it is, whatever we come up with for Furious 8, we have to raise the bar, in terms of action, yes, but also in terms of story and character.”
In the two weeks since its April 3rd debut, Furious 7 grossed just under $800 million worldwide, making it the highest grossing movie in the Fast franchise. The film has also been praised for its touching tribute to Paul. ~Sandra D. Sukraj

Universal Pictures launched the first Fast X trailer today, the latest movie installment in the Fast & Furious franchise, featuring a vengeful Jason Momoa.
Is there really gonna be Fast 8
This series could go on forever; so many stories to tell with these characters.
My god, just end already! I feel like this series is trying to pull a Friday the 13th, and go on for 30 years.
I’m a huge fan of the franchise (maybe not so much Tokyo Drift).
And before I was all for a Furious 8, but I dunno, after watching 7, and more specifically watching the tribute, I kind of feel like that was the perfect ending to the entire franchise, Dom & Brian sharing one last ride together.
Am really enjoying the f&f series and I can’t wait for 8,i don’t know how it ‘ll be,but am only disappointed knowing the death of Paul warker,i never knew may “RIP”please.
