Which deceased character returns to new Batman movie?

According to a report in showbiz trade publication Variety, a character who appeared to have died at the end of Christopher Nolan‘s Batman Begins is appearing in the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. Sources told the magazine that Liam Neeson has been spotted in London, filming scenes in character as Bruce Wayne’s mentor and nemesis, Ra’s al Ghul.  Warner Bros. Pictures have refused to comment on Neeson’s appearance, stating it is “simply not policy when it comes to the Batman films that Nolan and company make.” Christian Bale is returning to his role as Batman, while The Social Network‘s  Josh Pence will play the younger version of Ra’s al Ghul. The Dark Knight Rises will be released July 20, 2012.

Neeson, if in the movie, is probably playing Ghul and flashbacks or something similar.

At least I hope so…I’m not a fan of the enemy-is-dead-oh-wait-no-he’s-not idea.

    Well ……revealing my geek-colours.

    *semi-spolier alert*
Ra’s Al Ghul is supposed to be semi-immortal because of things called Lazarus pits, and apparently filming of such a creation has been done. So who knows, might not be flashback.

I totally thought flashbacks too! But could be a twin!! Wait, was he Ra’s al Ghul in the first place?!?! (ominus music inserted here)..Either way Chris Nolan can’t do any wrong, he will make it work. It seems it’s getting toooo jammed packed though. Like lots of stars and villins and such.

It’s sounding better all the time.
