Following in her famous father's footsteps, it appears Willow Smith is going back to starring in movies after launching a successful music career. The child of one of Hollywood's most talented families, she is set to appear as the lead in an upcoming reboot of the classic musical film Annie. The "Whip My Hair" singer isn't the only interesting new twist to this film, as rapper Jay-Z has reportedly signed on to compose. Rounding out the star-studded team is Men In Black 3's Emma Thompson, who is responsible for writing the script, and Smith's father, Will Smith, who will produce. With the talented young Willow in the lead role, and her already proven skills both with dance and vocals, this reboot is sure to bring a beloved classic back to life. Production is expected to start in the spring. ~Morgan Bates

Here's a plot twist for this terrible idea.

Hair whipping, spoiled (ironically) orphan is adopted into an average, minimum wage family where she must learn to not be so goddamn annoying.

Autotune your way through that, Willow.

    nepotism much?

and yes, this sounds almost as bad as her singing, but I suspect it will do well at the box-office.
