Zack Snyder tweets first image of Aquaman

AquamanJason Momoa signed on to play DC Comics superhero Aquaman last June and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder tweeted the first picture – seen here at left – of the actor in the role earlier today (Feb. 20).

He also included the hashtag #UniteTheSeven. For some, this could be interpreted as a reference to Aquaman being the king of the seven seas, but it also brings speculation to the possibility of reuniting the seven original members of the Justice League: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Aquaman.

Jason will make his first Aquaman appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, 2016. Aquaman will get his own movie in 2018. ~Sandra D. Sukraj
