Zero Dark Thirty star Jason Clarke, who plays a CIA agent in the movie, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about filming a difficult scene in which he gets violent during an interrogation. The film, which has received several Academy Award nominations, is about the hunt for Osama bin Laden. "I watched a lot of homicide investigations and interrogations, and so I had some idea of what a good interrogator means," Clarke said. He said he underwent the torture himself, saying, "It's very different to the real thing, because there's a stop point," describing it as "very similar to surfing and getting dumped by a big wave." He added, "It's very scary, there's a lot of water coming in, and it's just filling you up."
