Harrison Ford as Indiana JonesHarrison Ford is returning to the Indiana Jones franchise for yet another installment in a yet-untitled movie that will hit theaters on July 19, 2019.

This will be the fifth adventure in the blockbuster series. Steven Spielberg, who directed each of the four previous films, is back on board to helm the new project.

“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019,” said Alan Horn, Chairman of The Walt Disney Studios. “It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.”

The first Indiana Jones film — Raiders of the Lost Ark was released in 1981 and it’s on the list of the American Film Institute’s 100 Greatest American Films of All Time. Indiana then appeared in 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Doom, 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Are you excited to see the new Indiana Jones sequel?

Who do you hope will co-star with Harrison Ford?

Since the last film introduced his son, I presume this is mostly going to be about him with Indiana just taking a secondary role? Still, will be rather nice to see Harrison Ford in another of his iconic roles. But please, don’t kill him off as you did in Star Wars. Not fair!!!!!!

I think it will be good for his character as a large amount of people didnt like the last Indiana movie. I thought it was ok, but i was not in the majority. Disney seems to continually make good movies with good story lines. Hopefully this is a chance to redeem the character.
