Jim Toth feels ‘awful’ for getting Reese Witherspoon arrested

Jim Toth and Reese Witherspoon Jim Toth feels "awful" for getting Reese Witherspoon involved in his driving under the influence arrest. The Mud actress was arrested for disorderly conduct last Friday after Jim was arrested on suspicion of DUI and her husband is overwhelmed with guilt for "dragging" his wife into the incident. A source told People: "[Jim] feels awful that he involved Reese in the situation. He made a bad decision and it certainly made things worse that he dragged her into it. [He] has to pay the consequences, bottom line. He gets that." Jim, 42, reached 1.39 on the sobriety test - over Georgia's legal limit of .08 - when he and Reese were pulled over in the early hours of the morning and it is thought their "embarrassing" incident will cause him to look at alcohol in a different way. The source added: "Jim has always been a big social drinker. A lot of his job is being social. He's out to lunch or dinner almost every day of the week, schmoozing clients and taking business meetings. [The arrest is] just going to make the two of them stop and pause, and think about maybe how much Jim's drinking plays a role in their lives - if it does or not." The couple, who have seven-month-old son Tennessee together, have been given bail until their court hearing on May 22.

Well of course, he’s her husband. He’d be a d*ck if he didn’t feel awful

Reese got herself into trouble when she gave the cop attitude!! You have right to talk to law enforcement when your husband was drinking and driving!! Think about the innocent lives he could have took if something had happen! So shut up Reese, your just as responsible as your husband is.

^I think you need to go back and read the other articles! Reese apologized for the way she acted and what she said! you don’t have to be rude to people you don’t know.

Like they can’t afford a cab! And for that matter you’ve got kids and a successful life, she shouldn’t have lipped off the police officer, she should have been upset with herself for letting her husband drive knowing he was drinking. And upset with her husband for driving while drunk! Could have killed someone or orphaned their kids.

@ Some Girl so an apology will fix the problem of drinking and driving and disrespecting a police officer.
