Joseph Gordon-Levitt in bike crash

Joseph Gordon-Levitt needed 31 stitches after he crashed a bicycle into a taxi while filming his latest movie. The 29-year-old actor plays a courier in upcoming thriller Premium Rush. He was shooting scenes for the film on Sunday when he lost control of his bike and plowed into the back of the stationary taxi. The impact of the crash sent Joseph flying through the rear window of the car, slashing his arm badly. He posted a picture of his bloodied arm on his website yesterday, along with a video of his visit to hospital. “Wanna see a lot of my blood? 31 stitches today… :oD (caution gore). Busted through the rear window of a cab. Luckily got my elbows up. Coulda been way worse. No, but it was my fault, I was going too fast (sic),” Joseph wrote. The star also wrote about the incident on his blog. He said the movie’s director was horrified by the crash, but kept filming. “The director, Dave Koepp, was extremely concerned for my well-being, but I made him record the wound. Anyway, Premium Rush is gonna be awesome,” Joseph said.

In my humble opinion Gordon-Levitt’s best perfomance was while he was oin Third Rock from the Sun, Ever since he’s seemed to be a bit one dimensional and stiff. Kind of like an intelligent version of Keanu Reeves. Now, if he can only get back to that kind of humour his life will be easy. Well, easier for him than riding a bike anyway :)…. WHAT? Too soon?

i love him and im glad he is ok!!!

in other, unrelated news, didnt end up moving (not sure if i mentioned?) my friend waited til the day before i moved (after i was already done my last day at work and after i already pulled out of school and spent the money on stuff to move out, had everything packed and ready to go) to start a huge fight with me over me not wanting my bunny to be left alone in a living room with her HUGE @$$ cat and her medium sized dog, and told me not to bother coming then. so, now im back to where i started, unemployed, no school and too much stuff (including a bunny i got last weekend) stuffed in 2 tiny bedrooms (and heres the real kicker, i dont even qualify for any kind of financial assistance for another 3-4 months!) life is grand.

I’m actually kind of exicetd about this. The pacing feels like The Fast & The Furious, but for bikers. JGL is always great and I think there could potentially be some great bike stunts here.
