Justin Bieber bears striking resemblance to young Johnny Depp

Aside from the first letter of their given names, Johnny Depp and Justin Bieber don’t appear to have much in common.

But during Friday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the program’s host proved the two stars do (or did) in fact share an uncanny similarity in the looks department.

While Ellen was talking to Johnny about his early days as a musician, she pulled up a photo of the celebrity and placed it alongside one of Justin as a teenager.

She said, “You looked so much like Justin Bieber when you started out.”

The 52-year-old actor-musician seemed surprised by the resemblance and said, “Wow. He just looks like he might be a little cleaner than me…spiritually, I mean.”

In typical Ellen form, and in every way correct, she replied, “No, he’s not.”

Cue the laughs and uproarious applause.

Johnny’s next film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, hits theaters May 27.

   Depp was better looking when he was a kid. Justin has always looked like snot-nosed white trash.
