Lindsay Lohan sentenced to 30 days in jail

Lindsay Lohan admitted in court today that she violated her probation by getting herself kicked out as a volunteer at the Downtown Women’s Center, as well as failing to attend psychotherapy sessions. Judge Stephanie Sautner gave Lindsay 30 days in jail beginning on or before November 9, to give her time to complete her Playboy photo shoot, but stipulated that if she doesn’t comply by all the requirements of her probation, she will serve an additional 270 days. Lindsay will also have to perform 12 days of community service at the Los Angeles County Morgue per month and attend four psychotherapy sessions per month. However, the Sheriff’s Department told TMZ that Lindsay will only serve 20 per cent of the 30 days incarceration, which equals six days in total. As the hearing drew to a close, the Downtown Women’s Center asked for $135 to reimburse them for the security they had to hire while Lindsay was there. Judge Sautner said Lindsay wasn’t required to pay it, unless she wanted to do it out of the goodness of her heart. Lindsay immediately spoke up, saying she would be happy to pay the bill.

Lindsay is probably legally required to do the Playboy shoot as she’d be obligated to abide by the terms of her contract with them. Otherwise she could be sued.
She needs help, not jail. Too much fame, too much money, bad upbringing, bad family life. Inability to make good decisions. All the recipe for a runaway train destined to crash.
I hope she’ll get the help and caring she needs.

Another vacuous, self-serving Hollywood mental midget. Time was when I half-respected the kid for her acting skills, but she’s proven to be such a devious, immature, brainless little piece of trailer trash that she makes Hilton and Kardashian et. al. seem positively brilliant and selfless by comparison. Best remedy for this insignificant little witch? For the media to turn its collective back on her and treat her like the valueless nobody that she is. Sadly, though, that won’t happen.
