Matt Damon is back as Jason Bourne in new official trailer

By Alexandra Heilbron on April 21, 2016 | 4 Comments

The official trailer for the new Bourne movie just released this morning. Titled simply Jason Bourne, the movie brings back Matt Damon in the lead role.

When he meets up with Nicky (again played by Julia Stiles), he tells her he remembers everything, but she flatly tells him remembering everything doesn’t mean he knows everything. The two of them go on the run.

The trailer offers explosions, gunplay, motorcycle and car chases, and hand-to-hand combat, as well as an exciting scene in which a police truck smashes through the front doors of the Riviera Casino as people run for their lives, then plows through cars, sending them flying.

Finally, CIA senior officier Robert Dewey (Tommy Lee Jones) advises Bourne that he’ll never find any peace – not until he finds out who he really is. Never mind, we know Bourne is someone who can knock out an opponent with a single punch. Keep watching.

Jason Bourne opens in theaters July 29, 2016.

I’m glad Matt Damon is back in this one – the last one with Jeremy Renner was terrible. It’s not a Bourne movie if it doesn’t have Matt Damon as Bourne in it.

yes yes yes, awesome yes! This is Matt Damon’s role he was Bourne to play lol. He will forever be associated with it, like Connery and 007.
