Miranda Kerr is engaged to Snapchat billionaire Evan Spiegel

Congratulations to new bride-to-be Miranda Kerr for her engagement to billionaire Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel!
The supermodel confirmed the news today via Instagram, posting a black and white photo of her massive ring, superimposed with a Bitmoji version of Evan down on one knee proposing to a cartoon Miranda and big block letters saying “Marry Me!”
She captioned the adorable picture with, “I said yes!!!”
A source told E! News that the engagement was a complete surprise for the Victoria’s Secret model: “Evan surprised her when he proposed. It was done in a very romantic setting and he said very touching words while asking her.”
Miranda and Evan — who was recently named one of Forbes’ youngest billionaires — met at a Louis Vuitton party in New York back in 2014, but didn’t start dating until June 2015. The couple made their red carpet debut at pre-Grammy Awards function in February and made things Instagram-official the next month.
The Australian beauty is definitely not afraid to gush about her new fiancé, telling E! News last November: “He’s just a really kind person and very genuine and very authentic and I really appreciate that about him. Also he’s very intelligent.”
And although 33-year-old Miranda is eight years older than Evan, she says their age difference isn’t an issue.
“He’s 25, but he acts like he’s 50. He’s not out partying. He goes to work in Venice [Beach]. He comes home. We don’t go out,” she revealed in a recent interview with The Edit.
This will be the second marriage for Miranda, who was previously married to actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she has a five-year-old son named Flynn. They split amicably in October 2013. ~Shelby Morton
