Nintendo remaking Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire for 3DS

It is been 11 years, three generations and 333 Pokémon since players last traveled to the land of Hoenn. Now in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Pokémon trainers can return to the region they loved. On May 7, 2014 it was confirmed that Nintendo is remaking Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire for the 3DS. So far no gameplay has been shown but we can assume it would look like the current Pokémon games Pokémon X and Y. Pokémon X and Y were the first Pokémon games to be on the 3DS and was the first fully 3D Pokémon game. It was just released last October but Pokémon X and Y have already sold over 12 million copies. More information on Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will most likely be released at Nintendo’s E3 event. The games are set for a November 2014 release. ~Dylan Paisley
