Christian Bale

The classic children's novel Charlotte's Web turned a nine-year-old Christian Bale into the vegetarian he is today. His father, also an animal rights activist, taught the Academy Award winner to always be compassionate towards animals. The Dark Knight actor, who notoriously likes to toy with the media, has since said that he's flipped in and out of his vegetarian lifestyle after filming American Psycho and after seeing the film Life is Beautiful.
