Andy and Red – The Shawshank Redemption

Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) comes to Shawshank State Prison to serve two consecutive life terms for two murders (he didn't commit). He is befriended by Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding, (Morgan Freeman) a lifer who did commit murder. Andy shares his dream of living in Mexico chartering boats. After 19 years of planning, Andy escapes, but before he goes, he makes Red promise that if Red gets his freedom, he should go find something Andy has hidden. While it was not a box office success, The Shawshank Redemption, based on a novel by Stephen King, is considered one of the greatest films of all time.
