Behind the scenes of Pacific Rim
The city of Toronto was transformed into war-torn Tokyo last year for the set of Guillermo del Toro’s sci-fi action film, Pacific Rim. Photographer Sue Holland snapped these shots of Elizabeth Street in April 2012 where filming took place. The street looks surprisingly foreign, with the exception of the CN Tower in the background.
Pacific Rim boasts a cast of rising talents such as Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba and Charlie Day. It’s based in a world invaded by monstrous fiends and follows humanity’s fight against their intruders.
