Rule Britannia: British Actresses We Love

While we might not always recognize them, as they are often disguised with an American accent, Hollywood is populated with British talent. British actresses in particular always seem to possess a certain “je ne sais quoi,” which make them stand out on screen. Here is a list of our favorite female stars from across the pond.

   Well,Who would not love Judi Dench?
   Monday, at 7.30pm,is reserved for ‘Jean & Lionel,& cast, Of ‘As time goes by”, no matter what else is occuring.We have seen most of her movies,too,– the best being, we think, Her Majesty,Mrs.Brown. We also love to watch her acting with Maggie Smith,–they seem to compliment each others acting style.’Marigld Hotel’ was an excellant move,–thoroughly enjoyed it! Being seniors ourselves, we don’t get to the movies that often, but if there is one with Judi in it, we’ll be there!!!

   I would add Dame Maggie Smith to the list – her career is studded with memorable roles, and her Dowager Countess is the best thing about Downton Abbey.
