Stage collapse sends Resident Evil actors to hospital

Police and ambulances were called to Cinespace Studios in downtown Toronto at approximately 8:00 a.m. this morning when a raised platform collapsed on the set of Resident Evil: Retribution starring Milla Jovovich (pictured at left), Michelle Rodriguez and Sienna Guillory. Twenty actors dressed as zombies were on the platform when it came crashing to the ground. Toronto police Sgt. Andrew Gibson told the Toronto Star that the actors suffered a variety of “bumps, scrapes and bruises.” Eight were treated at the scene, but 12 were sent to a number of nearby hospitals — Mount Sinai, Toronto General, St. Joseph’s and Humber River Regional Hospital — with non-life threatening injuries. Constable Wendy Drummond, a spokeswoman for the Toronto Police Services, said the platform shifted and then collapsed when the actors moved from one section of the stage to another. Many of the actors sported bandages and fake blood as part of their costumes, causing some confusion when paramedic staff and firemen arrived on scene.

Milla ia soooo hot. Anyway yeah with the zombie blood I bet that would have been extremely tough to figure out exactly what’s eral and what’s not. Good think nobody died…for real.

Mila is a very beatiful actress. i think she fits the part well. just wish to see more of jill valentine, and the inside of the mansion with all the different rooms, and the dangers that they hold, like in the original game. now, that would be cool.
