Taylor Swift dined with her biggest fan, cancer patient Kayla Kincannon, 17, in Nashville, Tennessee last Saturday. The Michigan-born girl’s dream came true after her family, friends and even a few strangers organized an online campaign to grab the “We Are Never Getting Back Together” singer’s attention. Kayla has been battling brain cancer for more than a year. According to Gossip Cop, after the luncheon, Kayla’s father, Brad Kincannon took to their “official blog” to comment on the festivities. “This was no quick meet and greet photo opp. We sat and talked to Taylor and her mom for two hours, had lunch and Kayla received a gift basket, then she signed pictures,” wrote Brad. He later added, ”She is the sweetest, most down to earth person I have ever met! This was more than we ever expected! I’m so thankful to team Kayla, news, and everyone who made her dream come true! This was the best day ever for her and all of us!” Kayla shares her father’s enthusiasm, and couldn’t be more thrilled with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She even sent a tweet to her new pal: “Can not believe I just had lunch with @taylorswift13 today, I was enchanted to meet you!” ~Brittnee Fleming

feel good story. Nice to read. Nothing bad to say about Swift finally.
Nice to see famous people take time out of their busy days to sit and eat with those who are ill. Great read.
That’s generous of her. I like to hear about celebs who do that kind of stuff.
