Veronica Mars star fired for inappropriate touching

Former Veronica Mars star Michael Muhney, 38, has been fired after allegedly inappropriately touching his The Young & the Restless co-star, 20-year-old Hunter King. There are reports that Michael had not only touched Hunter more than once, but that he had also been constantly bullying and harassing her. It was also reported that Michael, who played Sheriff Don Lamb on the hit TV show Veronica Mars from 2004 to 2007, was earlier fired from that show. Although there are no reports about inappropriate touching, a source close to Veronica Mars’ production told TMZ that he was let go “partly because his ego was out of control.” According to sources Michael told everyone on set he was up for the lead role in Scrubs alongside Zach Braff but didn’t get it because he was “too good looking.” The final straw came when Michael leaked parts of the season finale online.
Michael, who played Adam Newman on The Young & the Restless, has been on the soap since 2009, when he took over the character from Chris Engen. Michael tweeted the news of his firing on December 17. His final episode will air January 30. ~Brie Davis

I think he got fired from The Young and the Restless (now) not Veronica Mars (in the past) although he is known for his work on VM….confusing though…

He was let go from VM because of his ego and the fact he leaked parts of the season finale, two big no-nos in TV. He was fired from Y&R because of bullying and inappropriate touching. seems like this guy is pretty full of himself. Hollywood loves to take those guys down and peg or two.
Well, it doesn’t say he was fired from Veronica Mars only for his ego – that’s just one of the things. It says “partly for his ego.” For all we know, that was just the last straw, if he’s a molester and a bully now, he was probably a molester and a bully on that set as well.
If chicks are creamy looking, these things can happen.
Oh well that is how guys are. Whenever they get moody they do uneccessary things. Men can’t be tied down to one woman for a long time because when they do they go and cheat on there wives or there girlfriends behind there backs. I think it is wrong. If this accusation is true that he bullied her and harass her then why wait now to fire Michael Muhney. Something is fishy here. The writers and producers of the Y&R should have gave him a chance to move forward with his character. I love Adam as a character on Y&R but he will be missed.

There 2 side to every story. There is no proof to the rumors either. If it’s true than it’s such a shame. He was a brilliant actor. If it’s not true this girl ruin his life. That cruel.. The rumors will just keep exploding. They both need to speak up and tell their stories..
She’s not a bad POA so good on him. Now if she was a fugo or a fatty then that would be an issue.
I know that some guys wouldn’t cheat on there wives but others do. His wife just had there third child and to bullied and harass a young star on the show speaks something. I am not turning off the tv. If it is true that is shame. He is a good actor on the Y&R.
