Gilmore Girls: A Year in the LifeIt’s here, fellow Gilmore Girls geeks! Stop everything and take a deep breath (and a cup of coffee, of course) as you watch the first trailer of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, dropped by Netflix this morning.

The rumors are true! Everyone is back – from Melissa McCarthy as good ol’ friend Sookie St. James to Kelly Bishop who plays Lorelai’s mom, Emily Gilmore. Rory’s boyfriends — Jared Padalecki (Dean), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) and Matt Czuchry (Logan) are also back in the mix.

Lorelai (Lauren Graham) is at a crossroad in her life — at least she is still with Luke. Her words of gold soothe our hearts: “Luke and I are happy.”

Rory (Alexis Bledel) is also missing something in her life as she gives the vagabond lifestyle a try. “I’m feeling very lost lost these days. I have no job. I have no credit. I have no underwear!”

Emily Gilmore’s life is up in smoke as she mourns the loss of her husband Richard (Edward Herrmann). “Half of me is gone,” she says. We see scenes of a funeral a.k.a cue for lots and lots of kleenex.

Lorelai and Rory are still the same mother-daughter duo who practically raised us and kept us company in good times and bad from 2000 to 2007. They return to Stars Hollow this year with their coffee addictions, apt movie quotes and on-point pop culture references — ahem, Superman saving the town from Ben Affleck!?

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is a four-part series coming to Netflix on November 25, 2016.

So sit back and watch the entire trailer. I hope you feel the excitement because we sure do!
