Amy Brenneman

Date of birth: June 22, 1964

Before making her break into feature films with 1995's Bye Bye, Love, this Connecticut native was a regular on TV's NYPD Blue, playing Officer Janice Licalsi from 1993 to 1994.

Brenneman's mother is a superior court judge and she's a Harvard grad herself who says, "I'm very much a tomboy."

As for how she's perceived in the business, she says, "I like my reputation. People know I'm good."
