ANDREW DAVOLI
Born and raised in Syracuse, New York, Andrew Davoli attended Villanova University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a
minor in theater in 1995. Although he considered attending law school in order to follow in his father's footsteps, he finally decided
instead to move to New York City to pursue his own dream, which was an acting career. He began studying at the Greg Zittel Acting
Studio and started going out on auditions in 1996. His first role was in the feature film Scar City (1999), playing Paramedic #1,
but he soon moved up the ranks, landing a small role in Martin Scorsese’s Bringing out the Dead (1999) and a lead role in the
Canadian flick, Loser Love (1999).
In 2000, Davoli landed a sizeable role in the star-studded cast of the feature film The Yards, then was cast in a recurring guest
role on the hit TV series The Sopranos in 2001, playing Dino Zerilli. In September of 2001, he played Mickey in an Off Broadway
production of the play Hurlyburly.
Originally scheduled for a 2001 release, his next film, Knockaround Guys, was finally released in October 2002. The film
co-starred Barry Pepper, Vin Diesel, Seth Green and Dennis Hopper. Welcome to Collinwood, in which Davoli co-starred
with George Clooney and Isaiah Washington, was also released in October 2002.
