BILL HADER
Date of Birth: June 7, 1978
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bill Hader's career took off when he became a regular cast member of
Saturday Night Live in 2005. He has since segued into the feature film world with an impressive list of
credits under his belt.
Following small roles in major feature films such as You, Me and Dupree (2006), Knocked Up and Superbad, he played Jason Segel's compassionate yet comedic step-brother in the box-office surprise hit Forgetting Sarah Marshall, then made a memorable cameo in the action/comedy Pineapple Express.
Hader appeared in the blockbuster comedy Tropic Thunder (written and directed by Ben
stiller, who also starred in the film) as the insecure studio executive Rob Slolom who has to contend with
the antics of Tom Cruise's crazed studio head character, Les Grossman. Hader reunited with Stiller for the
worldwide hit, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and appeared in Adventureland, reuniting him with his Superbad director, Greg Mottola.
In his spare time, Hader enjoys comic books, baseball and science fiction novels. He lives in New York
with his wife, filmmaker Maggie Carey.
