CAREY MULLIGAN

Date of Birth: May 28, 1985

By the time she landed the starring role as 16-year-old Jenny in the feature film An Education, for which she received an Academy Award nomination, Carey Mulligan had played supporting roles in two films: Rachel in When Did You Last See Your Father? (2007) and Kitty in Pride & Prejudice (2005).

Born in London, England, Mulligan's television credits include the mini-series Bleak House (2005), The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard (2006), and the telefilm Northanger Abbey (2007) for Granada Television.

On stage, Mulligan appeared as Nina in the Broadway transfer of Ian Rickson's production of The Seagull and won glowing notices for her performance in the show's 2007 London production, co-starring Kristin Scott-Thomas and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Her other movie credits include Public Enemies opposite Johnny Depp, Jim Sheridan's Brothers, The Greatest co-starring Susan Sarandon and Pierce Brosnan and Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps with Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf. Mulligan is currently dating LaBeouf.
