JOSH BROLIN
Date of Birth: February 12, 1968
The hunky offspring of TV star James Brolin (wonder if he calls Barbra Streisand "Mom"?) made his film debut at age 16 in Richard Donner's The Goonies.
Furthering his acting studies in New York, Josh returned to Hollywood
in 1987 and landed a role on the TV series Private Eyes.
He's since acquired a pierced nipple and several tattoos, along
with an impressive list of TV and movie credits. Recurring roles
on The Young Riders and Winnetka Road (playing a
guy with the very cool name "Jack Passion") kept him
busy straight through 1994, when he decided he was cut out for
bigger thingsand bigger screens.
Brolin has since built a nice resumé with memorable supporting roles in Bed Of Roses,
Flirting With Disaster (as Nightwatch co-star Patricia Arquette's potential dangerous liaison), Mimic and the Academy-Award nominated No Country for Old Men (2007). In 2009 he received his first Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actor for his work in Milk (2008).
Brolin divorced first wife, Alice Adair, with whom he has two children, in 1992 after four years of marriage. He was briefly engaged to Minnie Driver in 2001, but the relationship dissolved and he went on to marry actress Diane Lane in August 2004.
