In 2000, Loken made her film debut in the independent movie Gangland (2000), followed by two more independent films, Panic (2001) and Academy Boyz (2001).

From 2001 to 2002, she played the recurring guest role of A.D.A. Lisa Walensky in several episodes of the ABC-TV series Philly.
