MELANIE TONELLO
Date of Birth: June 8, 1992
Born in Newmarket, Melanie Tonello began performing in school productions, including playing the title role in Annie and Young Cosette in Les Miserables.
Her professional career commenced in commercials for products such as Cheese Whiz before landing a small role in the feature film Godsend (2004), starring Robert De Niro and Greg Kinnear. Her first large role was playing the daughter of Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson in The Prizewinner of Defiance, Ohio (2005). She went on to play Eugene Levy's daughter in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005), starring Steve Martin.
Melanie has also done quite a bit of voice work including the lead role of Rickie in the short-lived Kids WB series Da Boom Crew (2004); Tina Monkey in The Save-Ums (2003); Bunny in Discovery Kids Peep and the Big Wide World (2004); Kayla in Miss BG (2005) and the lead role of Lizbeth in Captain Flamingo (2005).
Off-camera, Melanie enjoys singing, playing the piano, creating her own dance routines and writing her own songs and poems, in addition to directing and performing in homemade movies with her friends.
