Oded Fehr Biography

ODED FEHR

Date of Birth: November 23, 1970

Oded Fehr was born in Tel Aviv, Israel to European parents and was educated there until the age of 18 when he joined the Israeli Navy for three years. When his National Service duty was over, he went to Europe to pursue a business career. It was at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England that he first discovered acting. He went on to appear as Don Juan in a production of Don Juan Comes Back from War at the Courtyard Theatre in London.

Following stage, he completed a number of television mini series, including Killer Net, Cleopatra and Arabian Nights. His first feature film was The Mummy where he played the heroic Egyptian guardian leader who joins forces with Brandon Fraser against the ancient priest. With the incredible success of The Mummy, Hollywood doors flung open for Fehr who quickly started to fill his résumé with other films like Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, reprising his role in The Mummy sequel, and Texas Rangers. He landed a regular role as Dr. Nicholas Kokoris on the CBS-TV series Presidio Med, which debuted September 24, 2002 and ran for one season.
