ROB HARDY Rob Hardy began directing films using a camcorder in high school. Although he went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Florida A and M University, he soon realized his heart was in filmmaking, and made his feature film directing debut with the low budget Chocolate City (1994). For his efforts, Hardy received the institution's highest honor, the Bernard Hendricks Student Leadership Award, and soon after, he and producer William Packer launched their company Rainforest Films....
