In the official trailer for Ordinary World, hardware store worker Perry Miller (Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong) passionately plays a guitar while daydreaming of his wild past as a punk rock star. His reverie is swiftly interrupted by his young daughter Salome (Madisyn Shipman), who's eager to get to school, while his wife Karen (Selma Blair) completely ignores him. Life is not what it used to be for the aging rocker, whose suburban role as a husband and father bores him. With his 40th birthday looming, Perry decides to throw a raucous party at the Drake Hotel in order to reclaim his glory days.
