  The fact that such an utterly dreadful and imbecile movie can be even considered as entertainment is a testament to how much our society, on a whole, has dumbed down. The movie is essentially aimed for Generation X-Box with cut-and-paste of arcade graphics of explosions peppered with interludes of 'acting' of the most shallow and mundane kind. The end is near, alright: the end of intelligence and good taste. Forget the tsunamis and volcanoes, uh, we be watching big bang-bang and big boom-boom, duh, ya that be it.

  To hollywood, was completely predictable! Graphics were the only good thing about this movie. However, the story line was one of the worst ive seen..

  Wow. Not just a weak movie, but it tries so hard to be an epic that it becomes laughable. So much cheese, such weak writing, not even the impressive special effects could save it. And it's long: at least when Ed Wood made a terrible movie, it was fun and short. This movie actually takes itself so seriously that it's WAY too long! If you really liked Armageddon, you might like this. If you didn't like Armageddon, avoid this American-tunnel-vision drivel.

Its basically 5 chase scenes with lava, fire, fissures, earthquakes, explosions as the chaser. Car, plane, RV, plane, boat as the chasee. Doesn't get any simpler. Great effects though! 4 stars for effects, 0 for plot. -1 for dialogue.

  The begining of the movie lagged. I felt like walking out during the movie. But I give this movie credit for great effects. That's it!

  this should be a minus 5 stars. Absolutely ridiculous dialogue and plot, laughable most of the time. Anybody with half a brain will walk out on his one as I did with 10 minutes left. So stoopid!

  4 stars opening, 1 star ending. Movie drags on the last 30 min, can be shorter.
