It`s just a waste of time and money...
i thought this movie was absolutely incredible. it stayed true to the historical details and the spartan way of life. the editing in this film was phenomenal and i thought the fight scenes were absolutely mind blowing. this film couldn`t have impressed me more!

5/5 - A visual feast for the eyes. This movie really speaks of what it means to be a fighter and fight for something you believe in without question, fear or hesitation. Powerful. A must see on the big screen.

Good camera effects during fight scenes, love scenes, etc...Good character development...Overall a good movie BUT...speaking as a European, I think the director/writers depicted the Persians as far to weak and fairy-like. The Persian king looked and acted like a transsexual (...not anything wrong w/ that). Anyone commanding 1 million soldiers should be given some credit and *everyone* wanted to rule the world back then (& some still do today)...and for the academics: *fiction or not*, how will this film frame the average person`s already distorted view of those people of Middle Eastern descent...given the current global political situation?
