Good plot, good acting, overall good movie... not an oscar contender for any categorey except original score.
I think 8-mile was fairly allright.
Eminem is the greatest rapper, and I`m sorry, but, this movie is horrible (w/ the exception of the battles)

the Ending was a bit annoying but the freestyles were good and I belive it really captured the culture. plus em`s performance was A+...for a guy who hasn`t acted before hes a natural

Believe it or not Eminem is was acutally a pretty decent actor. the plot was amazing about his life. The lyrics were some of the sickest i have heard from him also. New respect for that man. I recommend it as a must see movie.
