Great, light movie, creative, funny, nice scenery..maybe a little too predictable

A very pleasant surprise. Turned out to be better and funnier than expected. The uncle had the best lines. Besides comedy, it also had touching moments.

Love, love, loved this movie. It was imaginative, quirky, cute, and romantic. Beyond this, it was genuinely funny and offered great laughs time and time again. Admittedly the trailer doesn't do it justice, but it's a movie that knocks it out of the park.

It's not very often you get to watch a good comedy. Really enjoyed the movie and had a few good laughs. Repeatedly going back until he gets it right is something I'm sure we all wish we could do some time.

I was pleasantly surprised by the film. I expected a standard romantic comedy but really enjoyed a movie about family and relationships. The time travel aspect just allowed for a greater appreciation of the simple pleasures in life. Great chemistry in the lead characters.

My rating is 3.5 stars but it's not an available rating. This movie is enjoyable and though the movie tended to be cheesy, the overarching father-son storyline made it work (and bearable). Like other time-travel movies, About Time deals with how to live life. But unlike other time-travel movies, the movie deals with the ability much more simply, with fewer rules and implications.

Great for a Chic- Flic!! Cute comedy. Fun, worth watching! The actors were convincing and romantic. It should be a great hit with the 12 to 20 age group.

We liked the film, it was funny and very watchable. Was about relationships but wasn’t a romantic comedy, just a great comedy. Performances and the screenplay were great. Good soundtrack, fit into the movie well. The time travel didn’t turn it into a Sci-Fi movie, just contributed to the story and brought about some good comedic bits.

It was funny, intelligent, heart-felt, genuine and one of the best romantic comedies I've ever seen. It left every audience member with the reminder that life is short so we enjoy every single day to the best of our ability. It's not too much of a fairy-tale story which I liked (due to sad events in the movie) but there was definitely something magical about it. I would definitely see it again and I cannot wait until it comes out in theatres to see it again with the rest of my friends.

This was a wonderful movie. Both my husband & I were left with a "good feeling" after watching it. It reminded us of the importance of living each moment of our lives with an appreciation for what we have and making everything in life an adventure and not merely an inconvenience.

Based on the film's description, I was expecting it to be a romantic comedy (i.e. chick flick). Although there was romance, the film focused more on the journey through life and the lessons you learn along the way. The story was simply told and well acted. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

About Time is a gorgeous rumination on life's twists and turns. I love Richard Curtis's ability to play around with romantic comedy standards and create a brand new love story every time. The performances are subtle and charming, particularly from Gleeson, McAdams and Nighy. Everyone should go out and see this film, simply because it deals with universal human themes.

"About Time" is a romantic comedy with many heart warming (tissues will be needed) moments. As one could expect, Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson give excellent performances but Bill Nighy steals the show as the loving father who tries to teach his son how to use his gift to make the best life possible for himself and his family. In an age when so many movies are full of violence, CG effects, foul language, unnecessary sex and lewd jokes, etc., "About Time" is a thoroughly charming movie without any of these deterents. The film done a fine job in balancing the comedic and dramatic elements of the story, providing enough laughter and allowing it to flow smoothly without feeling too overly long despite its 2 hours running time.

We thought the movie was thoroughly enjoyable!! The dry wit of Bill Nigh was a highlight of an original, whimsical and entertaining script... The attention to detail was evident in the super cool and groovy sets - kudos to the production designer/art director for their due diligence... What a refreshing (soooo not sappy) film!! It is the movie equivalent of eating cotton candy washed down by pink lemonade. The performances were good but the story is the epitome of schmaltzy. There lacks any conflict. Like zero. Woow..this is so relaxing enjoyable movie of real love at first sight and very warm loving family!! You laughed from the start to the end, very well made, great actors in the film everyone. Capturing you every scene as no clue what next but to follow and enjoy. Magical back in time with the same great actress, *Time Traveller's Wife*..here again she nailed it..good sense of humor and so sweet all the film..Must see!!!

The movie and screenplay by Richard Curtis was wonderful. It was a good story with good casting for the family members and for the role of Tim by Domhnall Gleeson. The movie was funny but not overly silly with the time travel. It was good entertainment and I was comfortable with the "ending" of the movie with the suggestions of Tim's father.

Fun movie, a great story with some wonderful acting. I had my doubts going into the theater, I was totally expecting a chick-flick. As the theater began to fill, I took note, and realized that I was one of a handful of male movie goers. I would recommend this movie for everyone.

What a great evening I spent watching this film with my daughter. When I wasn't laughing, I was wiping some tears, and when I wasn't crying, I was laughing and crying at the same time! If you must have explosions, or only watch movies where actors are popular comic book characters, this movie may not be for you. If you like character development, relationships, family, and an uplifting, poignant story, you would not find a better way to spend two hours. Bravo!
