OK I went out to see the new AVP movie and I actually enjoyed it despite some early reservations. I had already read a few reviews by people who have seen a preview screening for some reason or another. The reviews I read excepting one tore it apart but for reasons like "not gory enough" (the most common) or "not long enough battle between the pred-alien and the predator". Well I thought those were really idiotic fanboys-who-needs-a-date reasons to not like a movie.
So here's what I thought:
First, lets get the negatives out of the way; The worst part of the movie was the under-developed dialog, wooden one-liners that seem to go nowhere as if the script writer just couldn't figure out
It's actually not bad at all. Definitely a step up from the last AVP movie. A very basic storyline with run-of-the-mill acting but as an action/horror flick it deserves 4 stars. I suspect the people who rated this movie a one star movie probably have not seen it as of yet; it's better than that. Worth seeing for the action alone.

This movie had a very cheap feel to it. If you are expecting it to be better then the last one you're in for a disappointment.
if you like a good old cheese go see!!
This movie is horrible. Its plot involves the aliens going around killing people and the predator chasing after it. The entire movie seems to take place in the dark where it's difficult to understand what is happening.
Avoid this movie like the plaque.
