  If you look closely, you will see that the Halo game has taken a lot of ideas fromo this movie, for example, the Pillar of Autumn looks a lot like the ship, Johnson and his cigar and the marines leaving the ship, and the Pelicans. Has anyboby else thought this?

  this is truly one of the best movies of all time its got everything you could possiby want out of a sci-fi movie great acting, script, action, special effects , horrer, drama and best of all it has the best directer of all time. I higly recomend this movie

  ALIEN was a much better movie and Weaver was at her best in ALIEN 3.

  I have to say that James Cameron's 'Aliens' is the best film I have ever seen. As I write my own screenplays, I use cameron's script as a template because the characterizations, the story structure, the setting, the emotions, and the ending are absolutely flawless in design - the unfolding drama is maximized past the limits of the audience's expectations. What a true masterpiece!
