Nothing amazing.. why does everyone think this is so good? At the end of the movie it should just say: "join the army".

Besides "Lord of the Rings" this is by far the best and most influential movie of the year!!! I liked it even better than SAving Private Ryan. (Sorry Steven)

Great movie, very real depiction of war. Only sad thing was that the Somali`s aren`t depicted as human beings considering 1000 died that day for the 19 Americans....

I think this movie is a "MUST-SEE" for anyone that is into movies that has action, and deals with war. I thought it was well done in an attempt to remake an event that happened a while back. The writers got pretty much all the facts and figures right. I plan to watch it at least 3 times. thats how good it was. and rarely is there a movie that ever gets my attention to watch it that many time in the movie theatre...

Excellent movie! Seen from the perspective of the ground soldier with no John Wayne/Rambo nonsense. First time I got teary eyed over a movie since I was a kid. For those who were/are in the military, it will hit home and you will relate fully and completely. For those of you who never served in any armed forces, it will be a great action movie. For those of you who do not understand what is going on, remember that in war plans are rarely excecuted with even 50% success. Things always go wrong and soldiers improvise. That is the mark of a good fighting force as the one you see in the movie. Outstanding movie!

Very exciting action movie. The great thing about it is that it avoids a lot of the American crap about being the best. It`s more about soldiers standing by each other in a dangerous situation.

Great movie!! I have seen it twice already. They stayed fairly closed to the true story. It is sad to see what those boys had to go through just because of a game of politics. It is also sad to see how many people at the movie didn’t know that it was base on a true story. Como on people it took place only 10 years ago.

I thought Black Hawk Down was an excellent portrayal of the horrors that the American soldiers faced on that fateful day in 1993. The actors in this film paid tremendous hommage to those soldiers that survived and those that fell, by delivering heartpounding, thoughtful and skilled performances. At times the film was gruesome and gory, but it was necessary to show an honest reenactment of those events. Black Hawk Down was an excellent film.

Black Hawk Down was an Amazing movie. From the slaughter of starving civillians at the beginning to the flight home at the end, Black Hawk Down provided the public with an actual view behind the tightly kept secret of Operation: Desert Storm. The problem with Somalia could be related to the way people are libing today in Afghanistan. The gigantic helicopters, armored cars, and elite infantry of the United States took over the screen and added a sense of `awe` while watching the movie. I would definetely recommend this movie to anyone interested in war movies, or who are just looking for a good time at the theatre.

This is a truly engaging and realistic look at the war in Somalia. T he acting is top-notch, with each character providing depth and realism that is rarely seen in movies today. The gore (what little there is) is appropriate and provides an element of truth ultimately perfecting the movie`s tone and making it what I would consider 5 star.

I don`t believe that the individuals having the luxury to sit comfortably in a movie theatre with popcorn in their lap could grasp the horror that occurs in many countries every day. It was nice to see a war movie that dealt with the issue with some seriousness. Maybe the movie makers in the future will think for a while before creating a glory driven (romantic) war flick which is insulting to those who have a fought for a country
