this was boring in the biggining. I kept waiting for her to break her toes. Then the sex stuff (cant unerstand why they had to put that in). The bleeding didnt make too much sense. It seems u had i imagine what the whole thing was about. Left about half way through. Oh and bad casting. Never, never should have used Hershey and Portman as mother and daughter. Sorry twenty thumbs down.
Natalie Portman deserves best actress for this film. I loved it and never left the edge of my seat. Best movie--Best actress
you must relate to ballet - if you do - its a great movie
Excellent perfomances.Perfect casting it reminds me a bit of 'the turning point".
I loved this movie. It was a twisted and kept me thinking about what was going on throughout the whole movie whether it was reality or all in natalie portmans characters head. Not only that but the reality of the pains of dancer was accurate.
Typical Aronofski style. Way too much attempt at being an art film than a hollywood film.
This movie was very well done. An extremely scary accurate portrayal of of what a dancers life may be like at a very competetive level. It was rated 18A for a reason. And it was not because it was supposed to be a scary movie. Very well done, and does deserve every award that it may get.
Strong, cruel, honest, disturbing and beautiful at the same time. Natalie Portman will be an oscar winner this time.
